The Your Child's Learning Mojo & Finding Your Parenting Mojo Memberships Together Bundle
I love the community aspect - hearing from others who have similar ideas about child led learning is such a pleasure. It is also valuable to hear about the various directions people can go when they start from the place of following their child's interest. I also like that the content provides a structure to my rather drifting and unfocused approach to learning that doesn't conflict with my beliefs about learning being something that should and does come from within the child.
I think the most impactful thing I've learned has been the simple act of actually creating the learning journal and having the intention to write down questions. It gave me just a tiny bit of structure from which to support my son's curiosity, and I think it gave him the feeling that his questions and ideas were being honored.
When Jen first emailed podcast listeners about her new course, “Finding Your Parenting Mojo,” I jumped at the opportunity. At the time I was struggling so much as a parent and feeling like I wasn’t being the mother I wanted to be. I was falling into patterns of parenting that I probably picked up from my own upbringing, things I swore I would never do as a parent. I always loved Jen’s podcast, and appreciated the research-based approach to parenting immensely. But putting the research into practice was proving to be very difficult.
This course has provided me with the material to go over areas for improvement in my parenting in a logical, step by step manner.
The workbooks/ exercises Jen provides are thorough and thought-provoking, as well as easy to implement. The monthly topics make this journey so much less overwhelming, as we can concentrate on one area we need help with at a time.
The group has also provided a community of caregivers who are going through very similar issues with their children, and their individual contributions have been just as helpful as the source material.
Jen puts so much work and effort into helping us, and it is so evident that she cares deeply about helping people become the parents they want to be. I will be forever grateful for this membership, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for help, support, or just fine-tuning their parenting abilities.
